I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel near the center of an iconic town in the Black Forest. My room was spacious and modern, with a lovely bathroom and excellent service from the friendly staff. the highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast, which featured locally sourced produce and fresh bread from the on-site bakery. I also appreciated the convenience of having a market and great restaurant nearby.
I did find it a bit tricky to check-in without a dedicated reception area, but it added to the charm of the place and the staff were helpful in guiding me.

Great for family holidays! We stayed here over Easter and it was wonderful. the rooms were incredibly spacious and well, furnished. We also enjoyed the amazing view from our room and the fact that we could bring our pets along. the location in the area was perfect for exploring the surroundings.
The downside was that the hotel lacked basic amenities. There was no reception desk available during all the time of the day which made dealing with front, of, house staff really challenging.

The room was beautifully designed with high-quality materials, and the breakfast was delicious, offering organic options. The hotel's location in a quiet and lovely village, with a nearby hill and river, added to the peaceful atmosphere of the stay. the convenience of having a small supermarket and bakery on the ground floor was a nice touch.
The hotel was a bit far from the city center, making driving the better option. The check-in process took longer than expected, with a wait time of nearly an hour, despite the staff being friendly and helpful throughout.

The value for money at this hotel is excellent, with a neat and comfortable wooden chalet and a beautiful countryside view. The staff, especially Marijana, were very friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient, being just a few kilometers from the center of town.
The breakfast could be improved by offering a cooked option instead of just continental.
